VIETRI encourages savoring one another's company, and keeping sacred the time spent around the table.

The company VIETRI stemmed from a family trip to Italy in 1983 where Susan, Frances, and their mother, Lee Gravely, fell in love with the Italian culture. During their stay they found themselves captivated by the handmade dinnerware, along with the overall lifestyle importance of sharing a meal together with family and friends. The Gravely family decided to explore the techniques used to create such beautiful tableware by visiting a factory in the town of Vietri sul Mare. After watching the artisans paint, glaze, and fire each piece by hand, they were inspired to share the treasure they had discovered. Since then, the Gravelys have continued to produce gorgeous, well-made collections.
